March 2016

Greetings!

Happy spring! I hope you had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends.

It has been a very busy time for all of our programs. In particular, we are very excited about growth in our adoption program and the Turner Counseling Center. It is also a sure sign that summer will be here soon as families are already reaching out to apply for Summer Camp Scholarships.

We're gearing up for a number of events and fundraisers here at The Maine Children's Home, including our much anticipated wine tasting, and in June, our popular yard sale hosted by our hardworking Friends.

Looking forward to an eventful spring,

Richard Dorian, Executive Director

Easter Fun

On Saturday, March 26, more than 125 children joined their families at our annual Easter egg hunt hosted at The Maine Children's Home Waterville campus.

Alyssa McCausland (5 years) of Waterville, and Charles Holmes (23 months) of Winslow, were the proud winners of a bicycle and tricycle.

A huge thank you to our dedicated New Balance volunteers and friends for helping us make this event possible!
